Watercolor
Learn the batik-resist technique applied to watercolor painting in this hands-on workshop with local artist Diane Lee. Using wax and dye, participants build up layered, richly textured landscapes and still-life compositions over the course of the session.
No prior batik or watercolor experience is required — Diane walks every participant through the process step by step, from applying the first wax resist to the final wash. All skill levels are welcome, and BAAC members receive a discount on registration.
Class size is limited to keep the group small and hands-on, so early registration is recommended. Register online through our secure form, or call us if you'd rather book by phone.
This class is open to anyone in the community, from first-time painters to experienced artists looking to add a new technique to their practice.
